Purchasing Team Leader

We are looking for a Purchasing Team Leader for our growing organization in Manisa.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibility within the scope of duties in Purchasing Management including strategic purchasing of production materials and supplier development  
• Technical and disciplinary management of employees, implementing and living the leadership culture and principles
• Permanent optimization and improvement of the applied purchasing methods/processes and resources (costs, quality, ability to deliver)
• Responsible for the strategic purchasing of significant value. Drive localization activities, identifying and introducing new suppliers.
• Initiates, coordinates and ensures all activities for the optimization of the relevant methods and systems used in particular SAP applications in the defined area.
• Monitor targets for cost saving, capacity and supplier performance. Identifying weak points and coordinating measures to achieve targets.
• Fast reaction oriented to customer requirements in the event of changes in the procurement network, supply bottlenecks and special customer requests, taking cost considerations into account.

Qualifications:

• Completed studies in related fields.
• 4 - 6 years of professional experience in Purchasing Departments
• Several years of experience in production complemented by knowledge of business administration.
• Experience in project management and coordination
• Comprehension and control of complex interrelationships in connection with value streams/supply chains
• Knowledge of SAP and general IT systems
• Leadership experience
• Specific product and production knowledge
• Fluent negotiation skills in English
• Strong customer and service orientation
