Senior Product Engineer

For our business partner operating in electrical / electronical manufacturing industry, we are currently seeking a "Senior Product Engineer" based in European Side of Istanbul.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s Degree in engineering departments, preferably Electrical/Electronics Engineering

·       Minimum 6 years of designing stamping and plastic injection parts

·       Knowledge and experience designing products with different types of raw materials for stamping (copper alloys and steel) and preferably also for plastic injection 

·       Understanding of high speed stamping technology and preferably also plastic injection technology 

·       Experience in simulations, test and measurements of stamping parts 

·       Analytical thinking, structured, autonomous, and creative work style

·       Knowledge and experience on IATF 16949

·       Excellent command of English both written and verbal, German is plus

·       MS Excel, Word & Outlook computer skills are essential  

Job Responsibilities;

·       Design and develop products or product families

·       Analyze and optimize new and existing products or product families

·       Generate ideas for new products, introduce them into practice

·       Analyze and compare existing and new products in the market

·       Follow market trends, OEM products and make recommendations for new ideas

·       Work with internal teams to make product changes

·       Work with external resources to design optimum products

·       Manage product material selection

·       Follow industry trends and make recommendations for new products

·       Manage coordination within the company and provide the right solutions to the customers

·       Develop, improve and coordinate departmental processes

·       Follow departmental KPIs and take necessary actions for improvement
