  1.      Key Responsibility Areas

Responsible for overseeing the Environmental and Social performance of the  Project.

At least 8 years of experience in related field

Advanced level English

Good at reporting and problem solving

Ensure all relevant ES permits have been obtained in collaboration with the Expropriation Manager.

Manage and monitor the implementation of the ESMP measures from the regulatory ESIA and revised ESIA.

Lead community communication and stakeholder engagement, including the provision of high quality and responsive information for different parties interested and or affected by the project. Develop approaches to engagement, collaboration, and innovation that creates improved value for EP.

Managing the Environmental and Social Management System, regularly monitoring its implementation and revising when required.

Manage the ESMP, Biodiversity Management Plan, Community Investment Program and the Livelihood Restoration Plan.

Establish Scope of Work for, and manage, contracts with specialized E&S consultants.

Support the Prague team in managing the communication with the Lenders and Lenders’ monitors on E&S aspects.

Prepare ES weekly and monthly reports and annual plans and ensure quality assurance of reporting.

Propose, implement and monitor measures necessary to comply with IFC requirements and national environmental and social legislation.

Monitor and advise on compliance with Lenders E&S policies. Resolve E&S issues in case of non-compliance, and where needed, prepare time-bound corrective action plans with specific follow-up procedures.

Prepare communication reports for the communities and other local stakeholders and organize stakeholder engagement as per the Stakeholder Engagement Plan. Revise the Stakeholder Engagement Plan as required and at least once a year.

2.       Manage and Monitor the Implementation of the ESIA/ESMP (Regulatory and Supplement) and Lenders’ ESAP

Implement and improve the Environmental and Social Management System, including the preparation of additional plans and procedures and or revision of existing documents.

Support and monitor the implementation of the ESMP, RAP and ESAP.

Implement and improve the Livelihood Restoration Plan.

Implement and review the implementation of Stakeholder Engagement Plan and Grievance Mechanism.

Monitor and implement preventive and mitigation measures,  and reporting for what concerns community health and safety and security.

Provide guidance to, and monitor the implementation of the Biodiversity Management Plan.

Execution the Community Investment Plan and revise accordingly.

Oversee the work done by the Environmental Superintendent for the preparatory actions and execution of the Reinstatement and Landscaping Management Plan.

Ensure the environmental monitoring activities (water quality and quantity, hydrology, waste and sewage, noise and air quality) are timely and qualitative performed.

Ensure ES incidents and non-conformity are reported, documented, and managed and report to top management, including Prague team.
