To support our team in İzmir, we are looking to recruit Quality Inspector Mechanical Engineering.

General Qualifications:

•University degree in engineering

•At least 5 years experience, preferably in Wind Energy, Electrical, Marine & Offshore, Rail or Heavy Engineering Industries

•Have very high standards in compliance, integrity and ethics

•Experience in Mechanical/ Electrical equipment & parts-Castings, Forgings, Machined parts & components, Switchgear, Transformers, cable and spares/Composite RM, Resins/Steel & Concrete fabrication/Capital & non-capital purchase etc.

•Able to interpret technical drawings.

•Experience in Supplier Development & Management, Negotiation, Total cost

•Exposure to manufacturing process

•Good knowledge of statistical methods

•Hands on ability

•Able to work independently in a structured way and drive organizational goals with suppliers

•Proficiency in SAP and MS office applications

•Good communication and leadership skills.

•Experience in working in matrix organization.

Job Descriptions

In detail, the position includes the following tasks (among others):

•Leading the assigned sourcing categories.

•Developing local supply base align with Global Procurement teams on potential and existing local supply base

•Driving market analysis, domestic & international price trends, benchmarking, cost analysis, RFx process, negotiations, contracting and management

•Reporting, monitoring and driving cost & delivery performance, executing TCO approach.

•Leading value engineering efforts to reduce costs

•Managing supplier relationships

•Implementing global procurement strategies

•Initiating, performing and supporting improvement programs with suppliers e.g. for cost reduction, lean manufacturing, quality/delivery performance, technology development

•Driving actions to avoid or respond to escalations with local supply base.

•Supporting tasks for Global Procurement International

•Supporting and coordinating end -to-end freight & logistics management of materials.

•Managing and coordinating suppliersfor the generator manufacturing

•Driving action plans with suppliers for gap closure

•Reporting, monitoring and driving development of cost structures and other KPIs for the category
