JOB BRIEF

We are currently hiring a “Foreign Trade Specialist”to lead our USA foreign trade operations, with the purpose of helping the company achieve its revenue target and strategic goals.

This is a hybrid working opportunity that needs 1 day/week on-site working in our location (Bakirkoy) and 4 days/week remotely with USA working hours in a week.   

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Business Administration, International Trade and Logistics,
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role,
  • Good command of Foreign Trade, Customs and International Logistics processes,
  • Experience in international trading operations, including documentation, preparing contracts, payment and delivery terms in international trade, banking and logistics transactions,
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Teams),
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English & Turkish,
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines,
  • Well-organized, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills,
  • Disciplined for follow-up; ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with attention to details,
  • No restrictions for international business trips, be able to adapt flexible working hours.


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Following up the export-import activities between Turkey and America with the Logistics department and organizing the necessary equipment such as forklifts and trucks,
  • America warehouse inventory tracking, cargo shipments, tracking and informing related departments,
  • Purchasing activities, receiving price offers and placing orders,
  • Receiving price offers from logistics companies, making price comparisons, planning, organizing, and reporting logistics activities,
  • Conducting, following up and concluding negotiations with agencies regarding customs procedures,
  • Regularly entering company expenses and forwarding them to the accounting unit to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting reports.
