GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Qualified Turkish lawyer with minimum 3 years post qualification experience in private practice and/or an in-house team.
• Experience in managing corporate governance procedures at Board or General Assembly level includign drafting relevant documentation and following up on registration steps.
• Experience in advising commercial teams.
• Experience in negotiating, drafting and advising on various types of contracts in commercial, outsourcing, IT, HR and media law related matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Communicate legal advice clearly and concisely in a commercial environment.
• Demonstrate initiative and the ability to be proactive, while also being able to follow instructions.
• Provide effective commercial solutions and to act as a commercial and legal advisor within a business team, to instill trust and confidence among business colleagues and clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide high quality commercial legal advice with focus on corporate matters and support other business areas of the Company, if necessary.  
• Work with the Senior Legal Counsel to provide effective management (i.e. drafting, negotiation and interpretation) of corporate secretarial and governance related areas along with other assigned projects.  
• Develop and understand risk mitigation strategies for contractual risks.
• Develop internal templates, guidelines and toolkits of a wide variety of business and legal issues.
• Exercise sound professional judgement in identifying issues that require escalation to the Senior Legal Counsel.
• Participate in the development and achievement of the team's service levels across the business.
• Assist the Senior Legal Counsel to manage external counsel, where necessary, ensuring appropriate service levels and costs management.
• Coordinate management support aspects of the legal function such as the Contract Management System.
