About the job

It is the responsibility of the Activity Management Specialist to provide operational coordination of product change projects (innovation, renovations, packaging change, plant transfers, product discontinuations and any other change which may impact the pack or product) throughout their life cycle.

Activity Management Specialist is accountable for project on-time delivery within budgeted cost and inside agreed quality parameters. 

A critical element of the role will be to balance the needs of the Supply Planning Team to ensure availability is maintained whilst meeting all requirements of Activity Management across the Business.

• Ensure on-time delivery of all resourced projects within agreed cost and quality parameters
• Deliver and own the templates for the product change process and ensure a consistent process is used across the business
• Capture and document all issues, and key actions from meetings/conference calls
• Compile detailed Critical Paths, assign ownership and gain project team member sign off for all tasks
• Work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure full alignment to the activity management process
• Highlight risks (timing/resources/ costs), propose solutions to project team(s) and escalate awareness across the business
• Ensure completion of "post-evaluation" of all activities. Track KPI's and identify key learnings for future activities
• Lead the Decision-Making and Project Management of "small activities"

The role is truly cross functional so the successful candidate will need to have strong numerical and analytical skills, balanced with great interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and inspire.

The candidate must have the ability to influence and motive key Stakeholders across the business and to adapt the leadership style to audience.
