Production and Process Engineer (m/f)

DAF Energy within Danfoss Group is on the look for Production and Process Engineer who will take an important part within Danfoss Productivity Program (DPP) that challenges, audits and supports all Danfoss factories in the areas within Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost, to ensure a continuous improvement, react timely on deviations and develop, maintain, share and continuously improve best practices within Production. DAF Energy was founded in 2009, currently employs 58 colleagues (out of this 25 blue collar employees) and is located in Tuzla/Sekerpinar, Istanbul. 

Joining us on this exciting role you will work closely with DPP Navigators to make the production site leaner and increase productivity by applying lean manufacturing and kaizen principles. You will also follow-up Key Performance Indicators – KPI’s (e.g. Productivity, Lost times, …), as well as develop, improve and standardize processes within Operations. You will be reporting directly to Plant Manager on the location and daily communicate with production workers, team leaders, planning colleague and others.

 Background and skills 

To be considered for this position you must hold at least Bachelor’s degree from Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. As this position might also be a fit for a beginner with potential to grow, we prefer to hire a candidate with min 2 years of experience within similar working area, quality or technology from international production company. You will also have an advantage if you possess knowledge and/or experience on 8D tool, lean manufacturing, reporting, improvement activities and KPI’s. We also expect: 

• Good level of speaking and writing in English 

• A good command of MS Office, especially Excel 

• Some experience with ERP programs, SAP is preferred 

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with continuous-improvement orientation 

• Willingness to work in teams and good communication skills 

• No military obligation for male candidates
