Project Engineer

This is a very exciting opportunity for a proactive and engaging Marine Project Engineer; who will be the focal lead in ensuring the successful and on time delivery of multiple, mid to high value projects for large clients across Turkey.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

• Manage the delivery, integration, installation and commissioning of Cummins products on client site including; supervision of project stakeholders, working towards multiple deadlines, monitoring costs and budgets, progress and budget reporting and fielding engineering queries from your client.
• Day to day control of specific works, internal project management tools and processes development and ongoing projects including co-ordination with project team members, suppliers, customers, other trades etc.
• Forge close working relationships with your project team and clients, being a trusted point of contact and continuously striving for a high standard of client satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain clear plans and schedules for each project to assure on time delivery, using the recommended project management tools and processes to drive completion within the agreed timeline.
• Manage and report on projects, identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and business performance.
• Establish close working relationships with sales, application engineers and supply chain management teams.
•  Work within agreed project budgets, P&L objectives, managing and controlling costs accordingly.

Skills and Experience Preferred:

• Existing experience managing multiple engineering projects for various clients.
• A background in marine would be highly beneficial but other industries will be considered.
• 2D/3D CAD capabilities – preferably in Creo or AutoCAD.
•  Advance Microsoft experience is required.
• Demonstrable experience delivering a high level of customer service, focusing on client satisfaction, dealing with challenging and high pressure environments as well as delivering on time and in budget.
• The ability to work independently, providing solutions to client queries and escalating to the project team if necessary.
• A collaborative approach to tasks and the ability to influence others at various levels.
• To be an influencer of change, institutionalizing a culture of simplification and standardization within the project team.
• Turkish and English language skills are essential to be considered for this position.

 Qualifications Preferred:

• A Mechanical Engineering Degree is required to be considered for this position.
