General Qualifications

• Engineering training, preferably in Mechanical and/or chemical process engineering
• Professional experience of 5-10 years in the process industry (chemistry preferably), in production or industrial design,
• At ease with international projects
• Experience as a project manager, in addition to pure industrial skills
• Experience working with engineering companies and industrial contractors
• Knowledge of standards applicable to industrial installations
• Capacity to analyse deeply and quickly the technical issues, while keeping the global vision
• Rigor, autonomy and capacity to communication and influence others
• Field person, agile and efficient, with an ability to lead complex projects in multidisciplinary teams
• Fluency in oral and written English
• Leadership and change management skills
• Emotional intelligence skills

Job Description

As an Industrial Project Manager, your main mission is to support and challenge the CC subsidiaries on the implementation of the industrial projects, manufacturing standards and IP objectives.

Be the leader or co-leader of some high-level projects, with objectives in terms of productivity improvement and/or launch of new products, with full respect of all the SG EHS & Industrial risks policies, and a strong business orientation.

• Deploys several projects in parallel in local factories in cooperation with the local project managers/operations directors, playing a facilitator role and adapting his contribution to each context (requests around 2 trips per month – long and short)
• Leads pre-industrialization tests, in particular in all area-managed sites, such as the PCP producing ones
• Participates in cross-functional Industrial, R&D and Industrialization workshops
• Actively participates to the consolidation of CC industrial performance through training and continuous improvement projects to maintain and develop the industrial performance of sites.
• Proposes and helps to sets up adequate IP indicators to improve efficiency and follows-up high-level action plans.
• Contributes to the animation of the quarterly Engineering meetings and of bespoke industrial seminars
• Screens suppliers’ offers (engineering companies and equipment manufacturers) and industrial competitive intelligence, to promote technological innovation.
• Ensures the proper application of quality, EHS, Industrial risks and Sustainable Development SG requirements within the framework of his/her actions, in particular ensuring compliance with quality procedures and enforcing safety measures on construction sites.
