Associate Lawyer (Mid-Level)

We are looking for a mid level associate with experience in theconsultancy and compliance mattersand who is eager to develop further expertise in theinformation technology, data protection and FinTech areas.

Qualifications
Successful candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Law Degree from a Reputable University
• Minimum four (4), maxiumum six (6) years of experience in the consultancy and compliance areas after the internship
• Technology literacy
• Strong contract negotiating skills in Turkish and English language
• High organizational, follow-up and time-management skills
• Ability to work individually and as well as part of a team
• Excellent command of English

Job Description

• Providing legal advice on Information Technology and Fintech areas, whilst building and maintaining productive relationships with clients, team members,
• Conducting legal research and preparing memorandums in the Firm's core fields, 
• Attending to data protection and payment or e-money institution license projects,
• Drafting of legal documents including contracts, pleadings, legal opinions and reports,
• Building knowledge and experience in the Law Firm’s practice areas to the highest standards,
• Developing a general knowledge of legislation principles/structures by actively participating in training sessions, conducting independent research, reading legal alerts/newsletters/updates, and learning types of legal services provided within a specific legal activity
  
• Providing support and guidance to more junior members of the team
• Undertake any initiatives identified and designated from time to time by the Partner

Applicants residing in Anatolian part of Istanbul are preferable.
