Job Overview:

We are seeking a "Finance Business Partner" to join our finance team located in Sarıyer/İstanbul. The role holder is responsible for leading the financial management including highlighting strategic plans, financial budgeting, cash flow, and accounting and policy matters. Also,  the role holder identifies unsatisfactory processes and potential performance improvement opportunities within the Finance Department to enable the business productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic financial partner to the CFO and General Manager.
  • Ensure efficient financial management through controls and processes.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process to align with organizational goals.
  • Monitor and communicate financial results, risks, opportunities, and trends.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements in financial reporting.
  • Provide advice on legislative changes affecting business operations and analyze job cost accounting.
  • Monitor overall financial performance and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for the Finance Department aligned with organizational goals.
  • Review financial performance to identify cost reduction and performance improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to workforce planning based on workload analysis.
  • Provide guidance, feedback, coaching, and development opportunities within the department.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
  • Min 10 years of relevant experience in managing financial operations - Big four experience is a must.
  • At least 6 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
  • Relevant certification such as Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Fluent written and spoken English essential.
