Your Responsibilities

/ Define and implement supplier development strategies to improve suppliers’ service level to BSH to support competitiveness and manage supply chain risks

/ Manage the pre-qualifying process of both new suppliers and products into BSH supplier/product portfolio in line with purchasing material strategy to ensure suppliers’ audit readiness

/ Develop suppliers to enhance their performance in terms of quality and delivery by implementing standardized systems and methods

/ Identify suppliers early in the new product development cycle for which the supplier competency profile aligns with productrequirements

/ Work with the R&D team to understand the product roadmap; determine any gaps between future product needs and the capabilitiesof existing supply base

/ 50% or more travel within Turkey

Your Profile

/ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related engineeringdisciplines

/ Minimum experience of 5 years and active responsibility in Production, Quality Management orPurchasing

/ Expertise at one of the specific production methods (plastic injection, tool design & manufacturing, metal stamping, assembly processes) is an asset

/ Able to drive cost improvement projects applying relevant methods ( i.e. VSM, VSD, Workplace Design, Lean Manufacturing and Cost structure analysis etc.)

/ Expertise in the deployment of Quality Management Systems and Quality Excellence programs

/ Ability to train suppliers regarding technical production process details

/ Excellent communication skills in English  in both written and verbal formats and self-motivated personality
