The Role

BASI Systems is seeking to work with a strong commercial leader with proven track record of market development and sales across geographies and a passion to develop talent. The commercial leader is expected to expand partner network particularly across geographies BASI Systems is underrepresented. The leader will be heading existing regional sales leaders and build capabilities in the organization. S/he is expected to undertake below activities among others:

• to define sales and business development strategies,
• to meet sales and profitability targets while improving contribution margin,
• to follow up global competition and to improve global market share,
• to build and develop strategic distribution networks globally
• to develop and execute sales strategies and to drive business in new and existing markets,
• to prepare and/or organize well detailed weekly and monthly  reports in sales area,
• to have hands-on management approach actively engaging in sales process,
• to develop and motivate young and aggressive sales team to achieve higher double digit growth expectations,
• to be a role model of our values as depicted in our corporate Code of Conduct.

 Profile

• Management experience in being a part of Management Committee and/or similar senior leadership position
• 15+ years experience in global B2B sales, market development, distribution network and agents management in preferably sports equipment industry
• Motivated, well-organized individual with deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with international customers, distributors and agents,
• If not native, excellent command of English in both speaking and writing. Another language is a plus,
• Experienced in managing a project/team in that lives/works out of multiple geographies,
• Developed knowledge in B2C and/or B2B sales cycle,
• Experienced in developing/managing distributorships and agent teams in various geographies,
• Teamwork oriented, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with culturally diverse groups and cross functional teams,
• Able to put the company ahead of personal expectations,
• Understanding of export/import procedures and regulations,
• Strong and consistent sense of teamwork,
• Good IT literacy
• Results-oriented mindset and financial acumen,
• Excellent communication, problem solving, cooperation and organizational skills,
• No travel restrictions,
