General qualifications:

     We are looking for a “Purchasing Responsible” for our multinational company operating in Chemical industry in Akhisar-Manisa.

·         University/Master degree on a related area

·         Good command of English and MS Office

·         Self motivated, analytical, proactive, team player

·         Strong negotiation and communication skills

·         Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing

·         Contract management, supplier evaluation, cost/price analysis knowledge,

·         Knowledge in local and global outsourcing and procurement , import and customs regulations

·         SAP user experience in MM module

·         No military obligation for male candidates

·         No restriction to travel in Turkey/abroad

Job Description

          Our ideal candidate will be responsible for :

·         Every steps of the materials that purchased from abroad or representative suppliers,

·         Purchasing operation of indirect and direct goods and services from local and global suppliers;

·         Being responsible for procurement of raw material, technical equipment, maintenance service,          office equipment, administrative service and consumables;

·         Negotiate price of related materials, research for alternative suppliers,

·         Analyze and create purchase plan according to forecast of sales reports,

·         Converting the purchasing requisition entered SAP system to order and follow the process,

·         Provide timely and error-free support for the import operation process,

·         Responsible for customs brokers relationship in order to guarantee processes compliance,

·         Registering and continuous follow-up of purchase orders  and deliveries in a timely and effective way;

·         Raw material sourcing in line with the production needs ;

·         Ensuring optimization of inventory levels by monitoring material availability, shortage/overstock and avoiding slow moving stocks;

·         Proposing and managing value added saving targets of purchases;

·         Searching for new suppliers meeting the requirements and company standards;

·         Negotiating with suppliers and setting contracts in line with internally agreed technical and commercial terms;

·         Coordinating the optimum supply conditions and deadlines by good communication internally with planning, sales, warehouse, logistics and externally with suppliers, service providers;

·         Managing the sourcing/quality problems and ensuring the best qualified and on-time supply of goods and services by proactive contact to suppliers and internal requestors;

·         Supplier management and evaluation, ensuring contract terms to be met by both parties;

·         Achieving  competitive pricings, adhering to required business and logistics conditions;

·         Maintaining procurement files and providing monthly reports of purchasing activities;

·         Handling and archiving full documentation required for the purchase order management;

·         Maintaining and updating related master data;

·         Following the standards and procedures  required by the company
