Job Description

We are searching for a FP&A Specialist who will be based in İstanbul -Tekstilkent office and will assume the below responsibilities;

• Support and assist in the closing process; to complete analysis, prepare journal entries and analyze information for accuracy and completeness; to input into the system.
• Do research and provide financial and business related analyses to assess the impact of various corporate projects and transactions.
• Conduct analyses and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital and investment.
• Support and assist in the annual operation planning process; to coordinate preparation of cost center budgets; to input data into planning systems.
• Provide financial analysis and support in the AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) process and the strategic plan.
• Prepare forecasts and analyze trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions and other related areas including hedge and FX transactions
• For assigned projects, to prepare detail of work plan and schedule, complete detailed analysis and research, identify options, prepare reports for management and recommend action or change.
• Assist in preparing economic/financial research and analysis for use in the development of business strategies and tactics.
• Oversight of the monthly close process for the Turkey site liaising closely with all relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate monthly closes and monthly flash reporting for site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or comparable education
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial role
• Experience of working in industry
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Proficiently using computers and related software
• Fluency in English
• Good business sense, strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Leadership skills
• Experience of Financial Analysis, Reporting, Key metrics and financial calculations, Statistics, Simulations and scenarios

Technical competencies:

• Very good Google Suite and MS Office skills
• Very good spreadsheet modeling and analysis
• Process/Systems Analysis, Design and Improvement
• Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle, Hyperion, HFM, BI Qlikview-QlikSense)
• US and ES GAAP & accounting
