ASAS Packaging Printing Inc. is a part of Contantia Flexibles group, one of the global leading producers of flexible packaging. ASAS was founded with a capacity of 500 tons/ year in 1978 in Ankara. ASAS is one of the largest flexible packaging manufacturers in Turkey. Our activities include gravure printing, lamination, extrusion coating and laminating and wax coating.

Now, we are looking for a person who will join us for product engineering position. Our plant is located in Yenikent, Sincan.

Requirements

University degree in the area of chemical engineering, food or industrial engineering departments (Masters Degree in one of the following areas polymer, chemical engineering would be a plus)

Excellent command of spoken English is a must (German knowledge is preferable)

4-5 years of experience in production departments 

Experienced in technical analysis, reporting, quality control technics, raw material and lean production& management

Multitasking and time management skills, ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications

Good at coordination and collaboration

No military obligation for male candidates

Key responsibilities and tasks:

Keeping track of production performance targets (speed, loss time, waste) and to take necessary measures and actions

Ensuring high quality, capacity and safe production

Following-up of production waste and taking measures to reduce it,

Carrying out production according to the defined standards of process and taking actions to improve the process

Reporting of production performance values, production presentation, monthly analysis and KPI reports,

Being part of operational excellence projects such as Kaizen, 5S etc

Controlling and supervising the production stages, correcting the defects that may occur in the production program and ensuring the renewal of the production program,

Coordinating the blue collar employees according to production plans and budgets
