Senior Specialist - R&d (smart Device)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields,
• Master Degree or Ph.D. is a plus,
• Minimum 3+ years experience in building web or cloud-based applications,
• Strong knowledge about web technologies and web frameworks, Django is preferable,
• Knowledge in Java development and Java frameworks,
• Solid knowledge about one of the web programming languages; Python, JavaScript etc.
• Knowledge of designing scalable systems and handling large volume of data across relational / non-relational databases,
• Proven knowledge of REST and RPC service patterns and other client/server interaction models,
• Aware of unit/functional/integration testing practices,
• Experience or interest in microservices, cloud service platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure etc. is a plus,
• Experience in payment system is a plus,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Thinking broadly about business,
• Understanding needs of the market & customer,
• Having desire to do outstanding jobs,

JOB DESCRIPTION

Arçelik is looking for Senior Specialist - R&D (Smart Device) who will work for Smart Device Management Team in Innovation Directorate.

• Taking role in smart device management projects by developing and optimizing web-based systems which control, monitor and manage smart devices remotely,
• Developing web applications and value-added services for payment systems by using web application stack including modern front-end/back-end technologies.
• Working closely with other disciplines to define and develop services according to requirements of smart products (devices).

The position is located in Ankara, METU
