QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or engineering field
  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience with MS Windows, Linux, SQL (Oracle, MSSQL or PostgreSQL) and Virtualization Platforms, Vmware and HyperV, Back up Systems (Veeam etc.) • DBA experience is a plus
  • Basic IP routing, firewall and general network infrastructure knowledge is required • Experience with Sharepoint
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for the administration of AD, DHCP, DNS, and whole Microsoft Servers and Services
  • Responsible for the administration, monitoring and maintenance of Office 365 Platform
  • Responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrade, administration, monitoring and maintenance of Virtualization Platform, Vmware
  • Responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrade, administration, monitoring and maintenance of Antivirus
  • The role includes the development and design of database strategies, system monitoring and improving database performance and capacity, and planning for future expansion requirements. They may also plan, co-ordinate and implement security measures to safeguard the database
  • Contribute to the Storage Administration
  • Responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrade, administration, monitoring and maintenance of databases in organization
  • Conducts effective progress evaluations in a timely manner
  • Mentors those with less experience through informal channels
  • Seeks and participates in development opportunities above and beyond training required by the company
  • Trains other innovators through both formal and informal training programs
  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
  • Leads internal teams/task forces
  • Accurately completes and submits time and expense reports in a timely manner
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures
  • Participates in the implementation and support of IT-related policies
