We are looking for a “Field Scientist (Bursa, Ankara)” for our client who is one of the leading players in international market operates in Agricultural Sector

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Trial owner, responsible for execution of CP field trials within a geographic area in line with specific technical skills in order to generate high quality field trials data
• Contributes to trial planning and design together with projects owner, protocol owner and other stakeholders that are involved
• Experience about executing registration, profiling-monitoring and & residue field trials, Biological assessment dossier & Residue report writing, beneficial studies and resistance monitoring studies
• Technical knowledge: agronomy, trialing, specific training in Crop protection trials executions, ARM (Agricultural Research Management), Spotfire, Power BI, SPSS or relevant data capture and statistics programs
• Conduct an agreed number of field trials through all stages, from initial planning to completion of final report, following the local standards required by methodology and authorities
• Ensures and does applications, assessments, reports and other activities, according to protocol requirements and following agreed deadlines
• Follow-up of external trials and on the ground interaction with CRO’s
• Manages the relationship with farmer does all the necessary field work, including selection of location (according to guidance from project owner), including compensation negotiations.
• Create and manage the relationship with Ministry of Agriculture experts, authors or officers on any level (Institutes, provincials)
• Validates results and give recommendations / insights on performance of tested products and solutions at single or combined trials level
• Collaborate with Regulatory department in order to prepare BADs and other documentation applied for getting registration

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural faculties (Crop Protection), M.Sc. or PhD. in crop protection
• Signature authorization on Phytopathology or Herbology for registration, residue trials & Biological assessment dossier
• Minimum 4 years of experience in trialing methods
• Advanced English (written and spoken)
• Computer skills (MS Office, ARM, SPSS, JMP)
• Based in or around Bursa | Ankara
• Available to frequent travelling and mobility for all around Turkey
• Full driver license (additionally SRC 4)
