GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI

Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager is a key member of ADAMA Turkey’s Management Team and part of ADAMA’s Global Marketing Community. This important role will be responsible to design and deliver ADAMA’s marketing vision & strategy for the Turkish market. Effectively marketing the current portfolio and new solutions, the role will also be responsible for conveying the corporate and product branding throughout the target channel and with relevant stakeholders.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving the definition, development and management of highly innovative and effective product marketing programs, consistent with the vision, business strategy, brand and purpose of the organization. They will oversee a team of product and brand marketing to ensure the effective execution of unique, aggressive marketing programs that create farmer and distributor level demand for our product brands, services, generate new opportunities and build a compelling corporate brand.

Experience and a proven track record in agricultural product marketing including competitive analysis, market sizing, segmentation, market needs analysis, product positioning and tactical marketing are important. The ability to take global, regional and local strategic marketing frameworks and translate them into strong demand generation programs is also a key ability.

This individual will direct all of the Company’s marketing activities including advertising and public relations, marketing communications, product and customer marketing, market research, competitive analysis, segment analysis and marketing communications. We expect this person to set marketing goals and metrics, measure their results and adjust their plans as necessary to attain their goals in conjunction with sales and profitability goals.


Principal Responsibilities:

  •  Continue to implement, enhance & communicate innovative marketing concepts and frameworks within local, regional and group company stakeholders.
  •  Define, direct and execute tactical marketing plans for each product, brand and market ensuring tactical plans reflect Company strategic objectives.
  • Represent the Company, its products and services to outside organizations, trade associations, prospective customers and others.
  • Define and create all product-centric content for marketing collateral, white papers, sales tools, presentations, website, trade shows, events, public relations, marketing budget and direct marketing campaigns.
  •  Lead and direct all Company branding, messaging and market positioning.
  • Create, plan and execute demand generation activities to support Sales goals.
  • Co-develop and Implement Go-To-Market Approach Strategy, CRM and other tools with management team
  • Oversee all public relations and advertising activities.
  • Availability to in-country travel for business up to 50%

Professional experience / Specialist skills:

  • Knowledge of the different local Crop and Non-Crop Markets
  •  Experience in the Agro business for several years
  • Strong commercial and marketing orientation
  • Excellent Customer Relationships and customer focus
  • Strategic thinking in an international environment
  • Experience in process organization
  • Computer / IT know-how, CRM knowledge
  •  Ability to work in a multi-cultural department / environment; entrepreneurial attitude


Position Requirements:

  • Five or more years of senior marketing experience in an agriculture environment.
  • Degree from a university (business administration, industrial or agricultural engineering). MBA or Master’s preferred.
  • Strong leadership abilities.
  • Results driven professional with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  •  Prior experience in an innovative (non-traditional) Marketing environment helpful.
  • Business level understanding or prior knowledge of the industry, channel and relevant segments is important.
  •  Fluent in English and Turkish (reading, writing, speaking)
