QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

You will play a key role in financial controlling within the Power Transformers Product Group in PGTR Business in Kartal, Istanbul, Turkey. Reporting to the Factory Controller, you will provide valuable support and guidance in all financial and commercial matters, while actively driving project performance.
Your background
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
- 5-10 years of experience in Finance & Accounting role, with Project experience beneficial.
- Experience with computerized accounting systems and financial reporting software including SAP.
- Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and ability to multitask.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Completed military service for male applicants.
- Advanced level of English.
Your responsibilities
- Providing input in negotiations on commercial issues as well as during the risk review process in support of the Tender Manager.
- Providing input to the project execution plan on financial aspects and assisting with the preparation of project invoices and financial accounting and reporting (including project site accounting).
- Driving the optimization of project cash flow and revenuing while maintaining the accuracy of the project balance sheet, income statement and monthly/quarterly forecast.
- Participating in opportunity and risk identification, monitoring all required mitigation actions to ensure timely implementation.
- Coordinating all financial aspects of the project, including estimate at completion and related cost-to-complete, forecasted revenues and cash flow and risk and opportunities assessments, as well as ensuring alignment with other functions including project controls and planning/scheduling.
- Providing support on claim management, back charges and insurance cases and monitoring proper follow-up, together with the Contract Manager/Project Manager upstream (towards customer), side stream (towards consortia partner) and downstream (towards suppliers).
- Ensuring timely and accurate execution of accounting operation for relative business as Hedge Request.
- Establishing cost structures including Full Cost Model Preparation for relative business, productivity optimization and capital efficiency while closely monitoring cash flow and taking relevant actions to improve net working capital.
- Supporting adherence to corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, group charter and business-specific finance directives and instructions.
- Preparing reports and financial analyses for relative business and ensure reporting to Local/ Hub/ Global in accurate manner within due.
- Supporting factory management for the business planning and forecasting process for PG2408 Power Transformers and serving as the interface with HQ/Country CFO/Global/Local Business Head whenever needed.
- Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines/procedures and external regulatory requirements. Coordinating with statutory auditors and internal auditors for any audit queries and timely resolution of same.
- Establishing and overseeing the processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information, ensuring high quality information in line with defined standards and financial closing schedules.
- Ensuring timely and efficient communication with relevant Local/Country/Division/Region Controllers, the Accounting Center and other internal customers to identify and discuss issues, suggestions for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency.
