You will be a vital member of the Distribution Transformers team in Power Grids Turkey in İstanbul in Dudullu. Reporting to the Production Development Manager, you will utilize your extensive skills and technical expertise to lead a variety of design projects.

Your background

• University Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and six sigma strategies and principles.
• At least 5 years of experience in working on similar position.
• Experience from leading major improvement projects.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Fluent English and Turkish.
• Analytical aptitude and thinking, strong data collection and analytical skills for complex project.
• Excellent ability to guide, coach and mentor others.
• Being self-motivated and self-organized. 
• Being open minded and having strong interpersonal skills.
• Completed military service for male applicants.

Your responsibilities

• Working with the leadership team and functional managers on developing strategy deployment action plans and helping coordinate Kaizen funnel to support the deployment.
• Championing a culture of continuous improvement and waste elimination across the organization using a range of lean methods, processes and tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Daily Management, Level Loading etc.
• Driving optimization of KPIs around Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Costs. 
• Driving Lean conversion for the organization and collaborating with internal and external suppliers and customers on overall Lean fulfilment of the value chain.
• Creating and managing projects across the business to achieve targets. Ensuring effective sustainment of results and supporting problem solving as needed to close gaps to targets.
• Building continuous improvement capability through training and implementation of various processes, tools and methods.
• Acting as the expert on Lean, Six Sigma and other improvement methodologies. 
• Combining technical knowledge with people and organizational skills to deliver operational improvements within the defined timeframe.
