QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We seek for "Tendering Specialist" who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in ABB in Power, High Voltage Service Unit in Kartal/Istanbul location with below qualifications; 


Your background:

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering or similar degree,
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales preferably in service and/or high voltage equipment, 
  • Knowledge in high voltage equipment operation and maintenance is a plus,
  • Knowledge in MS Office programs,
  • Team work & technically oriented, analytical skills, proactive & innovative, solution & target oriented,
  • Customer & market orientation, effective verbal and written communication skills,
  • Good planning and organization skills,
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Turkish including presentation skills,
  • Having a valid driving license & no obstacle for traveling frequently,
  • Completed military service for male applicants.


Your responsibilities:

  • Drive service sales process in collaboration with the service sales manager,
  • Generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated area(s),
  • Focus on installed base penetration (IB) and sell the entire High Voltage Service product portfolio in collaboration with other ABB Power Grids Service units, 
  • Build long term customer relationships and ensure immediate response to specific customer needs and issues, 
  • Deliver the Power Grids service portfolio to ABB customers within local and allocated export markets in High Voltage Service, 
  • Reporting to the sales manager, play a crucial role in implementing the service sales strategy, 
  • Propose techno-commercial solutions to customers requirements and follow-up,
  • Drive sales volume and margin across the entire ABB Service product portfolio in collaboration with other business units,
  • Communicate contract details in accordance with ABB offerings and strategy and managing associated Administrative Sales processes,
  • Coordinate with service sales manager to decide on pricing strategies, negotiate and secure contracts,
  • Preparing and reviewing sales plans and proposing recovery actions when needed to ensure all targets are met, 
  • Actively promoting ABB’s Service products and solutions during various marketing activities (trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings) while monitoring customer and market trends to develop effective marketing activities in collaboration with the PG LSM Service team, 
  • Establishes effective business relations with sales executives, management and technical team members,
  • Supervise distribution and archiving of documentation issued to customers as part of tendering and contract negotiations,
  • Maintain project pipeline and order forecasts using ABB tools,
  • It is the primary duty of each employee at TRABB to educate our employees, contractors, suppliers, partners, trainees and visitors in quality, environment and in operational and health safety, inform them about the possible hazards, impacts and emergency plans and to provide leadership in these domains,
  • Each employee in ABB is responsible for execution of Integrated Management System (Quality Management System, Environment Management System and OHS Management System) policy, procedure and instructions and comply with the legal affairs and ABB Management System and OHS Management System) policy, procedure and instructions and comply with the legal affairs and ABB Global Directives.
