Candidates are expected to have the following qualifications and skills;

• University degree from Medicine, Pharmacy or Dentistry Faculties 

• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Turkish

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Set

• Good at team work, being self-motivated, acting decisively, taking initiative 

• Experience in project management and in a cross-functional research environment would be an asset

• Located in Istanbul

Position Purpose:

• This role provides operational, logistical, administrative and financial support to the relevant Medical Area in order to ensure alignment of strategic and operational objectives. 

• He/she is also responsible for ensuring support to the medical functions for the appropriate management of the Pfizer sponsored non-interventional studies (NISs) and the relevant Corporate applications (i.e. GDMS, RighTrack II) according to SOPs requirements.

• He/she supports the management of Compassionate-Use Programs under the supervision of medical advisors. • He/she is responsible for ensuring support to the preparation and control of the GCMA materials according to the relevant SOPs in collaboration with medical advisors.

• According to competence areas, this function can interact with various company functions, both within and outside the BU (Medical Advisor, Medical Science Liaisons, Finance, Legal, Ethics Committee, Investigators).

• The “Senior” qualification is tied up to the level of experience and maturity within the role.

 Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides support to the relevant Medical functions to ensure management and implementation of medical projects (Advisory Board, Consultancies, NIS etc.) in accordance with Pfizer policies and procedures, the company’s Ethics code, and all applicable laws and regulations 

• Supports the relevant medical functions in monitoring, tracking and reporting medical projects performance 

• In support to the relevant Medical function he/she ensures adequate contracts administration and operations for Medical projects including any activities related to contracts development with Health Care Institutions, CROs, Consultants, Service Providers/Vendors. 

• Supports BU Medical Team in generation and review of reports and education materials.  

• Management of Pfizer systems for contracts and payments processing in compliance with company’s policies and procedures 

• Provides support to the relevant medical functions in the management of the following activities related NISs: 

- Ethics Committees submissions and communications, where required 

- Coordination of logistics for the translation of documents, where required 

- Communications to sites and corporate relevant functions, where required  

- Interaction with CRO for document management, metrics, budget and archiving, where required  

• Ensures that all NISs are properly maintained and tracked into the company’s databases (e.g. GDMS, RighTrack, etc.) and provides reports (study database reports, publication reports and data management). In case of NIS studies some activities could be delegated to CROs if specified in the service agreement in compliance with company’s policies and procedures (e.g. GDMS) 

• Supports management of Compassionate Use Programs and liaise with external collaborators, key opinion leaders to obtain the required documentation. 

• Support to the preparation and control of the GCMA materials according to the relevant SOPs in collaboration with medical advisors.

 • Provides support to the medical advisors for the preparation of regulatory submission dossiers.
