WHAT YOU’LL DO

-          Diligently follow-up on and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to health, and safety both internally within the company and externally to relevant stakeholders. Prepare comprehensive periodic reports that detail EHS performance, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.

-          Perform in-depth root cause analysis for any accidents or incidents that occur, and compile detailed reports that can be used to prevent future occurrences. This involves gathering data, interviewing witnesses, and working with teams to understand the sequence of events leading to the incident.

-          Conduct regular walkthroughs of the shop floor and other areas of the facility to identify potential hazards, ensure that safety protocols are being followed, and that EHS standards are maintained at all times.

-          Ensure that all operations are in compliance with local regulatory requirements as well as L'Oréal's internal EHS policies and standards. This includes staying up-to-date with changes in legislation and implementing necessary adjustments to workplace practices

-          Actively assist in both internal and external audits, as well as local and global assessments, to ensure that EHS practices meet the required standards. Provide necessary documentation and facilitate the audit process.

-          Oversee EHS management activities related to contractors and construction projects, ensuring that all external personnel adhere to L'Oréal's EHS standards and that risks are managed effectively

-          Follow up on process safety and workplace health risk assessments to identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them. This involves analyzing processes, materials, and work environments to ensure the safety and health of all employees.

-          Act as a key driver in promoting and improving the EHS culture within the organization. This includes engaging with employees at all levels, fostering a culture of safety, and ensuring that EHS values are integrated into daily operations.

-          Ensure that comprehensive EHS training programs are in place and regularly updated. Manage Emergency Management Plans and conduct EHS trainings to prepare employees for potential emergency situations

-          Exchange and benchmark with other Loreal Plants located in several countries.

-          Will have various on-line / on-site comprehensive EHS training opportunities

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES

-          4-year university degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, or other relevant fields.

-          Ministry of Labour Safety Expert certificate (C level or B level)

-          Min. 2 years of experience in EHS & Emergency Management systems

-          Excellent communication skills in English

-          Advanced proficiency in MS Office application
